My apologies for not replying to your post which I somehow missed and my attention was called to it by Ethan McKinney's reply.

I agree that items designed at TL6 can be and are still produced at higher tech levels using modern materials.

However, my understanding is that the sample aircraft specifications list the tech levels used in the design process.

In the case of the Nuremberg (TL6) Attack Aircraft the details indicate a flexible mount not a turret.

The COACC design process does not appear to have an option for "a simple electro-mechanical tracking system built into the rear turret.". I don't recall anything similar in MT Referee's Manual.

With the suggestion you made I now have a new item I want to add.
