The new list server supports archives. The question is, do we want the archives public or restricted to list members. I can strip of email addresses, but not if they are in the body of the message.
Thoughts?

I'm in favor of public, for the reasons previously noted: the ability to Google it and the consequent advertising potential to non-members.I think public archives might really help us gain new active members. I recently discovered a loose gaming fraternity local to me, most of whose members are half my age or less. There are even several grade school members in the mix. A surprising (at least to me) percentage of these people are actually intrigued - rather than intimidated - by game systems with deep history behind them . . . at least so long as they can do the relevant research on their smart phones.Richard Aiken
