Hi Shannon,

Although we've  announced (8/22/18 - bounce-38660-344@nasig.org<mailto:bounce-38660-344@nasig.org>)  my company's departure from the traditional print journal fulfillment service, I continue to provide appraisal services.  Recently completed an evaluation for the lost collection at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Insurance company did not accept their self-appraisal. Perhaps it's best to take any additional discussions  offline where you can share any related highlights at a later date?

My experience suggests that incorporating print journal appraisals into your disaster preparedness plans allows for swifter settlement if/when a disaster strikes.
Most important for shared print facilities that are preserving our worlds resources!

Thank you,

Good afternoon,

We recently had a leak in our off-site library annex, where pre-2000 periodicals were stored.

We're having to come up with estimates for our insurance company, and I thought I'd check here for some ideas. So far, we've used pricing from Ebsco (although it doesn't go back nearly far enough--most things were from the previous century) and Ebay.

If anyone knows a specialist or a service they could recommend, I would appreciate it.

Thank you,

Shannon
