If you have an MLIS degree and have moved from a large academic library to a small or mid-sized academic library, we invite you to participate in a research study.
The purpose of this research study is to investigate the experiences of professional librarians who transitioned from large academic institutions to small or mid-sized academic institutions. If you choose to
identify yourself (you have the option to be anonymous) and If you satisfactorily complete the study, you will be entered for a chance at 1 of 5 $10.00
Amazon.com gift cards. You will not receive any payment or other compensation for participating in this study.
This study has been approved by the University of North Alabama Institutional Review Board. Any study records that identify you will be kept confidential
to the extent possible by law. The records from your participation may be reviewed by people responsible for making sure that research is done properly, including members of the University of North Alabama Institutional Review Board and officials from government
agencies such as the National Institutes of Health and the Office of Sponsored Programs. (All of these people are required to keep your identity confidential.) Otherwise, records that identify you will be available only to people working on the study, unless
you give permission for other people to see the records.
