Hi Nancy, all,
We currently use Backstage for our authority work. We find them very easy to work with, quick to complete our quarterly processing, and helpful in answering our questions. I am not sure if the cost per record
is standard across all customers, or if it depends on the size of your database. We currently pay about $.05/record. I am sure the rate depends on what services you select.
If you would like, I can put your cataloger in touch with the person at our library who manages our authority control workflow.
Good luck!

Subject: [SERIALST] Anyone using Backstage Library Works for authority work?
Currently we use LTI for our authority work but our cataloger is doing a review to see if it would be beneficial to switch. Does anyone use Backstage Library Works for authority work? Any complaints? Or praises? How difficult /easy
are they to work with and what is roughly the annual cost (say,
cost per record)?
Any insight is greatly appreciated!
