Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory has an opening for a Science Research and Engagement Librarian. The successful candidate will develop, coordinate and provide innovative information literacy, reference and research consultation services, lead the library’s
engagement, outreach and scholarly communications efforts, and assist with collection development in several disciplines. The position reports to the Library Manager and serves advanced researchers in STEM fields.
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), located in the San Francisco Bay Area (East Bay), is a premier applied science laboratory that is part of the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) within the Department of Energy (DOE). The Laboratory
has a current annual budget of about $1.8 billion, employing approximately 6,500 employees.
