With apologies for cross-postings, the University of Michigan Library is seeking applicants for the Metadata Assistant in Technical Services. The Metadata Assistant is a key member of the library’s commitment to providing access to library resources.This position ensures access to electronic resources through creating and maintaining knowledge bases as well as resolving outages. They  ensure access to physical resources through maintaining name and subject headings in the library’s catalog. The successful candidate will also contribute to the usage consistency of name/identity and subject headings in the library’s discovery tools.
