The NISO Transfer standing committee is seeking a librarian (librarians working outside of the U.S. preferred) to participate in the standing committee. The committee governs the Transfer Code of Practice. The code contains best practice guidelines for the scholarly journal community to help ensure that journal content remains accessible when it transfers from one party to another.

Committee members are asked to attend committee meetings (in 2018, the last Thursday of every other month, at 11 am Eastern), participate in marketing and outreach efforts related to Transfer, and revise the code of practice as needed.
