Hi Beth,

I found these 2 resources to be helpful when doing holdings training for my staff. I often refer to them myself when I get oddball things.

ANSI/NISO Z39.71-2006 Holdings Statements for Bibliographic Items

Hope this helps!

Subject: [SERIALST] serials holdings question

Does anyone have any documentation for creating detailed serial holdings that they would be willing to share? I need to train a graduate assistant to create detailed holdings for titles in our Special Collections, and we no longer have instructions for this. A few years ago, we switched to summary holdings. I thought I would check before I start from scratch.

Thank you!

Beth
