Building Successful Digital Programs at Small Institutions
Friday, June 23, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Designed to help smaller institutions with limited resources begin or reinvigorate a digitization program that will endure, Building Successful Digital Programs at Small Institutions will offer four presentations focusing on each step in the digital lifecycle, including selection, metadata creation, access, and digital preservation.

Cataloging and Metadata For the Web: Meeting the User Where They Are
Friday, June 23, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

In Cataloging and Metadata For the Web: Meeting the User Where They Are, Ted Fons will use his Library Technology Report to discuss ways in which we can expose our services and content on the open web right now, meeting our users where they are. A panel of librarians will share their first-hand experiences implementing the concepts and ideas discussed by Ted.

Can't make it to Chicago for the in-person preconferences? You can still participate in an ALCTS preconference event with the two-day virtual preconference Diverse, Inclusive, and Equitable Metadata

ALCTS Member: $69 both sessions or $43 one session
Non-member: $95 both sessions or $59 one session
Groups: $206 both sessions or $129 one session

Fees include access to the live presentation as well as unlimited access to the recorded presentation.
