Hi Amy,

We were using a historical society and ran into the same problem.  We switched to Newsbank (http://newsbank.com/libraries/public/solutions/specialized/newspapers-microfilm).  They are a bit more expensive but the customer service and product quality offsets the increase.

Best,

LeAnne

Subject: [SERIALST] Newspaper microfilming companies

Hello,

I’m looking for recommendations of companies to use for microfilming issues of our town newspaper. The company we’re using currently is rapidly declining in responsiveness so I’d like to see what other options are out there. Any advice would be appreciated! I’m happy to take replies off-list as well.

Thanks!

Amy
