FOLIO is emerging into a world where there is a growing need to support a broadening spectrum of resources, expressed in a widening variety of metadata representations and formats. At the same time, organizations are being asked to reduce the effort involved in describing and managing the resources a library makes available.

In this forum, Marc will talk about the conversations that the FOLIO community have been having around the challenges and opportunities for resource and metadata management, and will share the current thinking on how we hope to embrace the potential of future approaches whilst supporting where we are now to provide the ability to incrementally migrate.
