The new OUP Academic platform, powered by Silverchair
In line with Oxford University Press’ commitment to the dissemination of the highest quality content to the widest possible audience we will shortly begin migrating our online content to a new OUP
Academic platform, powered by Silverchair. Not only will this better position us to deliver a best-in-class platform with market-leading features and functionality, but it will also allow us to drive future innovation and optimize the user experience for customers.
OUP journals will migrate to the new platform first, with OUP’s online products migrating later. The migration of OUP journal content will begin towards the end of the year with all journals scheduled
to have migrated by January 2017. We aim to make the transition process as seamless as possible for our users, and are currently working with our subscribers (both end-users and institutional customers) to prepare them for the migration. We have a robust transition
plan in place to ensure user access is not disrupted and are working closely with all of our publishing partners to deliver a smooth migration to the new platform.
