Hello all,

I just came across this new advertising gimmick, where the journal cover just shows the title of the journal and some advertising, but no volume numberation nor dates. The spine is blank as well. One has to search around in the journal to find the “real” cover page to see which issue it is.

Last week I saw it for the first time, today, the Lancet had it. I had to tear off the first 3 pages to discover the title page.

I am wondering if there is anything we can do about this new trend?
