Our university will be opening a knowledge commons in the fall with space for the library. We would like to move some of our print serials collection to this building but there is no security. I was thinking that if we could find some type of locking serials shelving we could lock the issues up at night and when no one is around. So far I have looked at Demco, Gaylord and Broadart and have not been able to find anything suitable. Does anyone know where we could find suitable shelving? Has anyone else solved this problem in another way? The only other thing I can think to do is purchase mobile shelving and lock it in a closet at the end of the day, but I’m not sure that this will be feasible. Feel free to reply to me off-list.

Thank you!
