Looking for advice!

Did anyone else manage their standing orders through Baker & Taylor, through their COMPASS system? I had been managing our standing orders (especially reference items) through B&T, but since they have been acquired by Follett, they are recommending that orders be transitioned to YBP (?), which I am not keen on. I now have to scramble to find an alternative system.

Long story short, B&T is no longer serving academic libraries. They dropped all of our standing orders with NO warning—we never received an e-mail or other notification of this (which is beyond frustrating). We are looking to transition to an option that is not YBP, and I’m all ears for any recommendations.

Questions:

I use EBSCO and LYRASIS for journal and database orders, among a few other vendors, but all of our standing order serials (almanacs, handbooks, directories, annual reviews—titles on a cycle) were managed through B&T.

This is my first ListServ post, many thanks in advance for your advice and insight!

Kind regards,
