I use the volume/issue enumeration listed on/in each title.  If they write it all out, so do I.  I match our abbreviations to theirs.  Same for using numbers versus Roman numerals.

For our OCLC local holdings (for ILL lending), we decided to just use the years of coverage, with a range being open-ended if we’re still getting that title.

Subject: [SERIALST] Standard Volume and Issue display

What format does everyone use to list their volume and issue in the catalog?

Example: v.21(3) (1994) - v.27(6) (1998)

Do you say "no." for the issue number?

Thank you
