Hello all,
I am cataloging Moon Havana. As you may know, Moon handbooks recently began publishing their books as “Moon Havana” instead of Moon handbooks. Havana”. This seems to me to be a minor title change, and the other books in the series seem
to follow this. For example, Moon Utah shows a first edition date of 1988 and an 11th edition date of 2015. However, the OCLC record for Moon Handbooks. Havana has it beginning with the second edition in 2003, while Moon Havana states it is a 1st
edition published in 2015. I dug around the RDA toolkit for a while and I am wondering if this counts as a major change in “scope”, which would require a new OCLC record, even though none of the other Moon handbooks are title changes. Or, should I just put
a 515 note in the old record and call it a day.
I hope this makes sense, thanks in advance to any assistance!
