We had subscribed to
Journal of Practical Nursing and received up to the same issue as you had mentioned. Upon claiming for the next year, at first the publisher reported that they were having problems internally that prevented more issues from being released. They
would ship as soon as available. The last time the publisher responded to our vendor, was 2/5/2013. From then until 12/2013, the publisher was nonresponsive. At that point, we cancelled our subscription with the vendor.

Subject: [SERIALST] Journal of Practical Nursing and Reading Horizons
Does anyone know whether Journal of Practical Nursing is defunct? We used to get it through EBSCO, but now they are unable to contact the publisher. Their website makes it seem as
though the latest issue was published in July 2012. The latest issue we received was the Winter 2011 issue (received in July 2012).
I'm also wondering about Reading Horizons. It was behind schedule for so long, and now there's a new issue on their website
announcing
that they're moving to an online open-access model. I'm guessing this means that they won't be continuing with print, but I'm not sure.
