The main reasons for geographical price differences go to currency exchange and postal rates. Then, there is always inflation and declining circulation.

I wrote a couple of articles about it in the 1990s.

Electronic distribution was not covered, but I hope you find them helpful.

Subject: [SERIALST] Publisher Question: regional price variations for periodicals?

Please excuse me if I'm not posting this question in the appropriate forum or
format!

I'm looking for other publishers' experiences with regional pricing adjustment.
Some regions have a much higher incidence of delivery exception and my company
is considering charging more for subscriptions delivered to these regions.

Does anyone here have experience with this situation either as publisher or
subscriber?

Thanks in advance and happy Friday to all.

Kind regards,

Daniel
