To add to Mike Saunders’s tip, a WorldCat search will tell you how many libraries world-wide have holdings for a title, but that does not mean all of them are current subscribers to that title.  Even if you go a couple of steps deeper and look at the holdings for the subset of regional libraries in your area, it’s not always easy to tell whether or not they have a current subscription and in what format.

Hello,

I'm a long-time SERIALST reader, first-time emailer, and still fairly new to the world of serials.

 

Can anyone direct me to a resource that would indicate the number of individuals and/or institutions that subscribe to a print journal?  We are trying to find out the number of current subscribers to the Journal of School Leadership (ISSN: 1052-6846).  We did not find this statistic in Ulrich's, the title is not in the MLA Directory of Periodicals, and I could not find this info on the publisher's site.  Information about the title is in EBSCONET (our primary serials vendor), but no subscription stats are listed there.  I emailed the publisher, but so far no response.

 

I would appreciate any other suggestions on where I might find this info.
