2014 Innovation Conference

Innovation is an important factor so that our organizations can stay relevant, enhance effectiveness, and achieve excellence. If you have ever struggled with how to implement or grow innovative ideas, then the Innovation Conference is for you. If you are a library dean or director that needs a strategy for building a culture for fostering ideas, calculated risk-taking, and exploration, or a frontline librarian or department head with a challenging project with stale options; this conference and the Innovator’s DNA workshop will provide you with the tools to move ahead.

Kate Nevins, Lyrasis Executive Director, will discuss risk taking and the consequences of not innovating. Jack Plunkett of Plunkett Research will speak about our customers and how we can help them be successful. Curtis Lefrandt, Lead Facilitator for Innovator’s DNA, will conduct the workshop that will focus on Core Discovery competencies and how to strategically implement innovative projects or programs.
