Without a checkin record, there is no way for the system to prompt you that an issue is late or lost. If there is a problem with a subscription, you won’t
find out about it until someone goes looking for that title……..

Subject: [SERIALST] Print journal claiming
Colleagues,
We've recently switched from creating checkin cards for our print journals to creating item records for them instead. Do any of you have experience with creating item records for print journals? If so, we're wondering how to best go about
claiming missing issues. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
