Hi,

Like many of you, we have withdrawn a lot of our JSTOR-covered bound periodicals. But we’ve been keeping the art titles because patrons may prefer the print version, and because images are sometimes removed in the online version over copyright/ownership issues.

The question arises for archaeology titles: withdraw or not? Do patrons rely on the paper at all? Are images ever removed from the online version? Most archaeology titles are heavily illustrated but they are B&W photos and illustrations that are at least partially created by the article authors.

Thanks,
