NEJM Group to preserve the New England Journal of Medicine with Portico

NEJM Group has entered into an agreement with Portico to preserve the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) in the Portico archive. Through its participation in Portico, NEJM Group is ensuring that NEJM content will remain accessible for future researchers, scholars, and students.

First published in 1812, the New England Journal of Medicine is an essential, trusted, and influential source of significant new medical knowledge and clinical best practices in the world.

NEJM Group creates high-quality medical resources for research, learning, practice, and professional development designed to meet the demand for essential medical knowledge among academic researchers and teachers, physicians, clinicians, and others in medicine and health care. The New England Journal of Medicine is a publication of NEJM Group, a division of the Massachusetts Medical Society.

“We are delighted to be partnering with the Massachusetts Medical Society to preserve this essential journal for future scholarship,” commented Kate Wittenberg, managing director, Portico.
