I just spoke with my Sales Rep at W.T. Cox today and ask about the rumor of them being bought out by Prenax and he verified what Eleanor said. I will also say that we have been with Cox for 5 years and I’ve
had excellent customer service with them. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to change vendors.

I would like to jump in here and add a correction to the below information. W.T. Cox is a family owned company and was never owned by Prenax. I believe another subscription agency may had been bought by Prenax,
possibly Basch, but someone else can confirm that.
I find that both Ebsco and W.T. Cox have good people to work with. I have worked with others as well, but not recently so I wouldn’t want to comment on current conditions elsewhere.
The advice people have given about helping your sales and customer reps do a better job for you is spot on. If you are not getting the service you expect, move on if you can.
Cheers,

Hello,
my collection is no where near that large and I was not happy with their customer service in Los Angeles or Alabama. I switched twice, am still on the 2nd vendor, not too
happy with them either. It seems no vendor has that good of customer service anymore. They promise alot to get your business and then don't deliver after just a few months. The one I am with now, the sales rep or whatever he was basically lied to me. Sad.
But good luck. I've heard good stuff about WT Cox though although they are small. Be careful, I think they got bought by Prenax, the first company
I dumped after EBSCO.

Hello,
Does anyone with a huge collection of subscriptions (10,000 or more) prefer WT Cox or another subscription agent to EBSCO? Has anyone found EBSCO to have lacked in customer service since their move to Alabama from the representatives in
Chicago? Has anyone ever made a switch of a large collection of subscriptions from one vendor to another?
Any help appreciated.
You can email me off the list.
Thanks, Robin
