Everything you just said about her was exactly true. I remember her as a companion at Mexican conferences and her willingness to enjoy meeting
and helping our colleagues in another country.
Is there something we can do at NASIG to honor her?

Kat is right, Birdie was a very special person. I’ve shared this elsewhere but what I remember about her in the midst of this very sad situation is that she was always the same, whenever I saw her (usually at NASIG): funny, smart, laid-back,
encouraging, straightforward, caring, and kind. She was a great leader in the serials field.

We are stunned and saddened to have to announce the death of Birdie
MacLennan, the founder and listowner of SERIALST. Birdie died
yesterday, after a very brief illness, at the age of 57. We will send
