ALCTS needs knowledgeable librarians from all kinds of libraries to teach additional sections of its popular Fundamentals of Acquisitions (FOA) online course.

Please visit the ALCTS Web site for additional information about the course at
http://www.ala.org/alcts/confevents/upcoming/webcourse/foa/ol_templ

Courses are provided over a four week period. They are composed of self-paced modules and include interaction with the instructors and classmates. The courses are already developed and ready to use; no additional editing is needed. Instructors would participate in evaluations and have the opportunity to recommend updates to the course content as needed. A modest honorarium is awarded to course instructors.

To ensure consistency of instruction and a high value experience for participants, course instructor training has several components:
1.Take the course as a participant.
2.Repeat the course shadowing the instructor, with access to the instructor interface.
3.Team-teach the course with an experienced instructor.

How to Apply:
If you are interested in becoming an instructor for this ALCTS Web Course, please complete the online instructor application:
https://alctsprogram.wufoo.com/forms/alcts-foa-web-course-instructor-application/

You will be asked to:
•Include a statement of interest (300 words maximum)
•Attach a copy of your resume.

Upon submission, the application will be reviewed by ALCTS Continuing Education Committee and the course instructors.

The deadline for applications is August 31, 2013.
