The ALA Association of Library Collections and Technical Services (ALCTS) Continuing Resources Section College & Research Libraries Interest Group seeks a new Chair-Elect to serve starting after ALA Annual 2013.

 

The new Chair-Elect will help to solicit and plan interest group sessions for the ALA Midwinter Meeting and Annual Conference and be an active partner in leading the interest group's planning and outreach efforts. The Chair-Elect is expected to attend the interest group sessions at these conferences.

 

This position serves as Chair-Elect for the first year of the term and Chair in the second year. The Chair is expected to attend the CRS Executive Committee meetings at Midwinter and Annual and to submit quarterly reports to CRS.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join professional colleagues with similar interests and be a leader in providing timely, informative programming.

Nominees will be asked to submit a brief statement about their interest and involvement in the ALCTS Continuing Resources Section or related activities and curriculum vitae or resume.
