RE: [SERIALST] question about the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit
issue
We tattletape
all of our SI issues twice (& still lose some, though not
as many as we used to) and the swimsuit issue 3 times. So far
it remains here.
Knock on
wood.

RE: [SERIALST] question about the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit
issue
We
don’t put that issue out at all. The major reason for this
being that we are a Christian institution and that issue does
not really follow the ideals we try to exemplify. I don’t think
we’ve ever had someone come and ask for the Swimsuit issue, that
I’m aware of.

Hi,
Ken,
We had the same experience as you describe. My supervisors
wouldn’t like me saying it, but now we just don’t care.

You
could try putting it on reserve and taking their school ID.

Hello!
For many years, our library has kept the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue at the Circulation Desk. No one would ever ask for it. So this year we decided to try putting it out with the other Sports Illustrated issues, and made sure that it was tattletaped.
Well... within a week, the issue went missing and it's still missing.
What do other libraries do with the Swimsuit issue?
Thank you,
Ken
