Hi all,

We had a student come in doing a research project where she is counting up the number of articles published in different journals for a certain time period. After she counted the journals that we had, she asked for help in getting the counts for the journals we don’t have. Here were some strategies I suggested, but I wanted to see if anyone had any better ideas for this type of problem. Thanks in advance.

·         Search for items within the publication for the specified time period in either Summon.

·         Do a similar search, or a journal browse, in a database where the journal is indexed.

·         Visit the journal homepage to see if table of contents are available for the volumes in question.

·         Search WorldCat to see if any local libraries have the volumes in question.
