Electronic Resources Management Specialist

Responsibilities: Manages the libraries’ growing collection of serial and monographic electronic resources through the entire e-resource life cycle (purchasing, access, assessment, and archiving). Responsibilities include acquisitions, importing bibliographic records, technical support, usage analysis, management and updating of the link resolver knowledge base and contact for the proxy server vendor and problem resolution for these systems. Manages the licensing and contract process and maintains licenses and contracts.  Remains abreast of matters affecting electronic resources management and advises library staff of changes in the field. Works closely with other library staff in collection development, systems, acquisitions, cataloging and public services. Provides all services for the benefit of the campus community.

 

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; three years or more experience.  Experience in library operations, specifically in acquisitions and/or serials management preferred
