Hello Cyndi,
Greetings from your neighbors on the other side of town! We canceled
Newsweek when they decided not to do business with subscription agents (and later changed the decision, but it was too late). This is just another reason to cancel, since the e-mail model is unworkable for most libraries. There’s enough aggregator
coverage to make the print unnecessary.

Subject: [Caution: Message contains Suspicious URL content] [SERIALST] Newsweek going digital - what is your library doing?
Good morning,
As you may have heard, Newsweek is going "digital only" starting Jan 2013. My understanding is that the only subscription option Newsweek will offer is sending the issue to an email address,
which isn't at all conducive to library-patron usage.
I'm wondering what libraries are going to do with the subscription - will you cancel it? Try to find some way to share the issue electronically, (and legally, of course) with your patrons?
If you could please share with me what you plan to do (or share with the list, if others are curious), that would be wonderful.
Thanks so much!
