We are exploring using EZProxy to allow users remote access to our IP authenticated subscriptions. However, every time we bring it up, our IT department says that it is a security risk and won’t let us use it. I’ve decided to compile some articles and papers to calm their fears. My questions to the list are:

1.      Have you have the same problem with your IT department? What arguments were effective?

2.      Do you know of any good papers or articles to use as part of the argument?

I’ve started gathering some literature, but I thought I would ask the collective wisdom of the list as well. Please reply off list, I will compile the answers and repost if anyone is interested.

Thanks!
