ALCTS webinar: Demand-Driven Acquisition, Part 1

All webinars are one hour in length and begin at 11am Pacific, noon Mountain, 1pm Central, and 2pm Eastern time.
Part 2 will be held October 3, 2012.
 
Description: This hour-long session, one of two parts, gives an overview of key concepts behind demand-driven acquisitions (DDA):
- why and how to implement
- benefits to the library and the campus community
- implications for the library collection
Examines the theoretical concepts about DDA while giving practical advice about setting up DDA in libraries with some considerations of long-term impacts by looking at a case study from the University of Denver.

Who Should Attend? Anyone with an interest in learning more about demand driven (also called patron driven) acquisitions.
