Bryn Mawr College Information Services invites applications for the position of Data Integration Librarian.

This full-time, temporary position through 9/30/2013 reports to the Coordinator for Information Acquisition and Delivery. Major responsibilities include managing the Tri-College Libraries’ (Bryn Mawr, Haverford, Swarthmore) link resolver, discovery layer article index, and metadata cataloging record service. Additional responsibilities include managing the library’s article citation recommender service; troubleshooting and resolution of problems with the above software applications; serving as a resource person for staff on processes and standards for metadata management; coordination of implementation for new features, changes, or upgrades to the above applications; and in collaboration with colleagues at Haverford and Swarthmore Libraries, plays a role in making both policy and processing decisions.

Qualifications: Three years’ experience managing Ex Libris’ SFX, Bx and Marcit software products. Experience managing Ex Libris’ Primo Central. PERL, CSS, and Unix editing experience. Desired: MLS from an ALA-accredited institution; excellent organizational, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills; superior attention to detail.
