I have also done this and it works well. The link resolver/A-Z list provider support teams are usually grateful since they do not receive timely updates on what is exactly in which package. I also have been able to use the list myself to double-check content, ie. promised content versus actual content.

Have you tried asking Elsevier for a spreadsheet that lists the titles and dates of coverage for your subscriptions? We don't use Serials Solutions anymore, but I have had some success with procuring spreadsheets from some publishers and then forwarding the spreadsheet(s) to the link resolver/A-Z list provider.

Subject: [SERIALST] ScienceDirect Titles for Pi2 Libraries Post
I’m wondering if anyone can help me. I cannot find a database package in Serials Solutions (including the Pi2 package listed there) that corresponds exactly with our collection of titles. I’m wondering how any other libraries with this problem are handling this. Elsevier says they never provided utl links to Serials Solutions and that this problem is connected to the Pi2 “dilemma”, whatever that is. I’ve contacted Serials Solutions also but they haven’t responded as yet. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Tom Evans
