We canceled a number of high priced, low-use subscriptions when we first activated the ArticleSelect program. We did not have any bundled license agreement prior to that.

Some titles are not available for the program, but none of the titles in question are necessary for us. Libraries have options for different levels of access.
We are also looking at Get It Now from Copyright Clearance Center, and Deep Dyve is getting into the academic market, so we’ll be watching that as well.

Watch out with the idea of using Article Select Tokens. If you cancel a subscription, I don’t think they will let you use Article Select tokens on that journal. So, you may not be able to drop a low use/high cost per use journal thinking that you can get away with just paying for the individual articles you need with the cost of a token.
