This is possibly a bit outside of the scope of this list, but I know there are a lot of serialists like me out there who’ve morphed into e-resources librarians to some extent. My library is beginning to talk about patron driven acquisition
of e-books and I’d be very interested to hear about others’ experiences with this model of acquisitions. In particular, how much (if any) push-back are you getting from faculty? Which vendors are you using and why? Based on your experiences, what are the
pitfalls to be avoided?
