This is possibly a bit outside of the scope of this list, but I know there are a lot of serialists like me out there who’ve morphed into e-resources librarians to some extent. My library is beginning to talk about patron driven acquisition of e-books and  I’d be very interested to hear about others’ experiences with this model of acquisitions. In particular, how much (if any) push-back are you getting from faculty? Which vendors are you using and why? Based on your experiences, what are the pitfalls to be avoided?

If you prefer to respond to me off-list, I’ll be happy to summarize the responses I receive for the list.

Thanks,

Sarah
