I have Digital video (San Francisco, Calif.) OCLC 755759214 The record has a 780 00 |t DV The record says it “Began with vol. 19, no. 10 (Oct. 2011)”, the issue I have.

On page 3, under the Editor’s view, is stated: “We’ve been developing and evolving a new concept for a magazine that incorporates everything you like in DV and Videography …” This implies to me that both DV (OCLC 35232231) and Videography (OCLC 2409346) have ceased and both have been merged into Videography. But the record for Digital video does not mention Videography, and the record for Videography does not show that it has ceased, or mention Digital video.

Do you think Videography has ceased, and the record needs to be closed and a 785 field be added for Digital video?

Or does Videography still continue, but is “partly merged with DV” into Digital video? (With DV having ceased altogether, as its record says)

In either case, I guess a 780 field of some sort for Videography needs to be added to the record for Digital video. Either the new title totally replaces Videography, or only partially replaces it.

Thanks, Jack
