My notes say Forbes publishes 2 volumes annually, “biweekly except monthly in July & November”.  My pattern of choice is biweekly, 2 volumes, 12 numbers, year, month.  I have a note on the checkin record, then, to change the month if necessary, and add the day date before checking in, and to give to me if the volume or issue number do not match.

I rarely have an issue given to me – in fact, I can’t remember the last time I did.

Hope that helps -

Subject: [SERIALST] Help creating complex publication patterns

Hello to the serial world. I am new to this area and would appreciate help
in figuring out how to configure enumeration/chronology w/issue in hand.

For example “Forbes” I have v.188 # 1 July 18, 2011.

Appreciate it…….
