Hello,
I wanted to come back with some further clarifications to the queries being raised on this list regarding Taylor & Francis Online.
Access Entitlements
We are treating any access entitlement queries raised via support@tandfonline.com as a priority. Any customer contacting this address will receive a response within two working days, although it may take us longer to resolve any particularly complex queries.
Off-campus Access
We have observed two specific issues in the last few weeks with proxy access:
1. The first relates specifically to customers using EZProxy, and as Melissa states below (thank you), you need to ensure this is configured with the following stanza:
T Taylor and Francis Online
DJ tandfonline.com
2. The second area where we have seen some issues is with the set up of Proxy IP addresses. If you would like us to double-check the set-up of your proxy IP address please contact us at support@tandfonline.com and we will look into this for you.
Sequencing of journal issues
This relates to the queries that Ken has raised on this list. Within some journals, users are seeing issues within a given volume that are appearing out of sequence. We are currently documenting where this is occurring and will be fixing this as soon as possible.
With thanks for your patience,

Are you using EZ Proxy? If so, this is our working stanza for T & F. Maybe you’re missing the J’s in the host and domain lines?
T Taylor and Francis Online
DJ tandfonline.com
I probably shouldn’t say this, because it probably means everything’s going to come crashing down later this afternoon, but we haven’t really had any of these problems with the T & F migration. I even had a student worker check all of our titles to make sure. Maybe we have a smaller collection, so our odds of a mix-up are smaller. The only problem we had was with usage statistics loading incorrectly, but that’s supposed to have been resolved.
But yeah, I have to say that I’ve learned pretty quickly to dread the words “platform migration”. J

I can access our T&F here at work without problems. However, I am taking classes from FSU and I cannot access any T&F articles using the proxy login. It is very frustrating since final papers are coming due… They have no trouble accessing the information on campus, but the proxy seems to be an issue.

I was hoping that the problems of a few years ago (when Blackwell and Wiley merged) wouldn't be repeated, but the Taylor & Francis situation is fast approaching those problems.
I have been contacted by several very nice people from T&F, but nothing seems to be resolved. I have sent the same information about titles with missing issues, split volumes, etc, to at least 3 different people, and no resolution. Yesterday we discovered a title for which we were granted full access in 2008 (Journal of Development Studies), all the way back to 1964… we no longer have that access. I was told that even though I had an email from 2008 from a representative of T&F stating that access has been granted, this no longer qualifies as acceptable proof.
I now have a student worker going through our 86 titles, looking to see which titles are problematic - missing issues, no access, etc.

Hello everyone,
This is a rant based on over 2 weeks of unending frustration. My EBSCO rep is unable to get T&F to respond to my library's non-access issues as well as to those of multiple other clients since the T&F platform was migrated. T&F is now insisting that we do NOT have a multi-site license DESPITE the fact that we never signed a single or multiple-site license to begin with and EBSCO was never told that there are now (as of platform change) apparently both single and multiple site licenses! More to the point - we are not a separate site by most definitions. Our institutional faculty and staff hold OSU appointments! They have now separated our hospital IP ranges from our main institutional affiliation (Ohio State) AND our consortial entitlements (OhioLINK). In addition, OSU & OhioLINK are now cut from our entitlements! We never had any issues on the Informa platform and in fact if I log in to that administrative account ALL of the necessary IP ranges are registered and accessible on Informa. The email address that was given in a previous post that Jennifer told us to use is not getting us anywhere. Jennifer said that our (any of us on the list) difficulties would be treated as a priority. Please explain how over 2 weeks of this with very slow responses and NO resolution constitutes a priority response?! If anyone from T&F is out there reading this I would greatly appreciate a direct response asap as this is one of the worst customer service experiences I have had with a publisher in a very long time.
