Navigating the rapids: leading in fast moving times

The ALCTS Technical Services Managers in Academic Libraries Interest Group (aka Medium Heads) will meet at 8:00 Saturday morning, June 25, at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside in the Kabacoff Room.  Topics for discussion at the various tables include: Challenges of patron driven acquisitions; Challenge the process: new and innovative ways for our work; Technical Services skills for the future; New library goals and new roles for Technical Services; Status and rank of librarians in academic libraries especially in Technical Services; and Initiating and implementing change with emotional engagement.
