The survey focuses on librarianship as a second career and results will be submitted to an upcoming book on the psychology of librarianship. Librarianship as a profession appears to attract a number of people who have previously been in different careers, yet little is known about why this occurs. Participants in the survey will not be personally identified, and the information provided could be very helpful in better understanding our profession and what attracts people to it from other career areas.
