I saw another recent message on SERIALST, I believe.  This is a publisher error and I think the other poster said they are supposed to be sending a replacement copy.  At any rate, the title is correct on the inside and the contents are correct as far as I know.

Allowing for the small possibility that it could have been a title change, though, the title does not even make sense.  It reads "Development Intellectual and Disabilities."

Sincerely,

I did come across this—it was reworded on the front cover, but the inside title page had the  original title with no change so I sent it through – we thought it might be a publishing error for this issue, but if it continues, what should our strategy be?

If it is just a change in the order of the words, it is considered a minor change.  We do not process minor title changes.  You could add a 246 field to your record with this change.

Has anyone dealt with this one yet? Is this considered a title change since they just changed the order of the words? Any assistance appreciated.

Thank you.

When there is a minor change like this, do you shelve all of the issues together?  I would probably have to put labels on each issue so that my student employees shelve them in the right place.  This is so frustrating.   If they want to change the title, why not actually change the title?
