I, too, have no
experience with SFX. We use Gold Rush
from Colorado Alliance of Research Libraries.
We can change both access URLs and dates and can LOCK them so that a new
list downloaded to the knowledgebase doesn’t override our data. Similar to Barbara’s question, is it possible
to “lock” the data in SFX?

I
have no personal experience with SFX, so this may or may not work. We use
Serials Solutions. If the access dates listed for a journal are different
from our subscription, we can just change them. Is it possible to do this
in SFX?

Not sure this qualifies as experience, but our access dates of
journals get reset also, with no notice to us or seemingly, rhyme or

Subject: [SERIALST] Some Questions and Help about SFX
Dear All,
We have some questions about SFX. If anyone has any experience about below
mentioned issues it would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Oya Arus
1. When we update SFX monthly, access dates of journals have been resetting.
After each update processes, we have to rearrange the access dates.
2. When we search a journal with subtitle in "Starts with option"
(for instance "Journal
of polymer science. Part A-1, Polymer chemistry"), we could not
reach the journal.
3. We would like to make a change (design...etc) in our periodicals main page.
Is it possible to do this kind of changes?
