Fall Workshop!
When: September 30, 2010, 9:15am-3:45pm (final schedule still under
development)
Where: Elliott University Center, University of North Carolina at
Greensboro
What: This is an exciting professional development opportunity
including a keynote on the changing roles of technical services staff
and sessions on these topics:
-Cataloging nontraditional formats
-User-centered collection development and acquisitions
-The changing world of acquisitions
-The involvement of Technical Services staff in lending e-book readers
-Library user community analysis
-Preservation of print materials
A great local opportunity for NC library personnel!
Registration costs:
$25 for NCLA Resources & Technical Services Section members
$30 for NCLA Members (RTSS nonmembers)
$35 for non-NCLA Members
