I would like to pass on that we have had a long and positive history
with Ebsco.

They don't have electronic ordering with EDI with III yet as far as I
know but they do work on claims very nicely.

They also have a nice system for working on old claims which sends a
tickler in a function called "claims checker" on their web interface
called Ebsconet where you can make orders, cancellations, modifications
to your orders. I am not a technical guru but this is a nice interface.

Blessings,

Irma

Is there any one who can recommend or currently using an effective and
proficient serials subscription supplier?

We are particularly interested in the ones who can promptly deal with
issues claims; provide consolidation services; support EDI ordering and
invoicing in the Innovative Library System.

Please reply to me directly.

Hi,

We switched to Harrassowitz, headquartered in Germany, this year. I
have b=
een the print check-in and claims person for 12 years. We enter claims
on =
their web site manually (vs. electronically). They automatically send a
co=
nfirmation for each claim entered. When they claim the issue(s) from
the p=
ublisher, they send notification by email. The information is also on
the c=
laiming screens for the titles. It is too early to say more, but so far
I'm=
 very happy with them.
