Hi Denise,

Although it is almost one year old (please excuse any duplication), you may find the following link useful:

At our library (Texas A&M International University) we recently tested the standard Kindle, the Kindle DX and the Sony. We will soon evaluate the iPad, but have not implemented a specific service yet. We are looking at various service models.

Subject: [SERIALST] e-reader management in libraries

Good afternoon everyone,

We are an academic library who is investigating using e-readers such as iPADs, Kindle, Sony to provide patrons with access to our newspapers. Has any library experienced using e-readers to provide access to their patrons? If so, how are you managing this? What pros and cons are you seeing?

Any information you can share will be greatly appreciated!

Best regards,
