LAC seeks a full-time temporary Copy Cataloger for an organization in West Los Angeles.

Responsibilities:

Copy cataloging of monographic materials and some processing of printing labels, etc.
Database maintenance tasks as assigned.
Editing bibliographic records and specific MARC tags for large projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and/or Certificate in Library Technical from a certified college preferred.
Previous experience in Copy Cataloging is mandatory.
Knowledge and use of Sirsi Unicorn module. Knowledge of MARC 21, AACR2 and LC Classification schemes highly desirable.
Knowledge of SUDOC classification and experience with OCLC connexion preferred.
